Lobophyllia Coral, also known as Lobo Coral, is a popular and hardy LPS coral that features large, fleshy polyps that can come in a variety of colors, including vibrant reds, greens, oranges, and purples. The polyps are often large and fleshy, giving it a distinct, open flower-like appearance when fully extended. Its robust nature and stunning coloration make it a favorite among reef aquarists of all levels.

Lobophyllia prefers moderate to low lighting and low to medium water flow, which helps keep its polyps extended and healthy. While it primarily relies on photosynthesis through its symbiotic zooxanthellae, it will also benefit from occasional feedings of small plankton or coral foods to promote healthy growth and enhance its colors.

This coral is peaceful and can be placed near other non-aggressive species without fear of stinging or aggression. However, it should be given enough space to expand, as it can grow quite large over time.
