Refund and Return Policy

 

Overview At Coral Stop, we are dedicated to enhancing your aquarium experience, whether you're purchasing livestock, dry goods, or seeking advice. We strive to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. Given the variety of options available, we aim to offer a top-notch buying experience.

Livestock and Corals Most of our livestock items are individually photographed and displayed on our website as "What You See Is What You Get" (WYSIWYG). Consequently, all sales are final. Our system removes products from the site once sold, preventing additional purchases. If you wish to cancel an order, we offer a 100% credit valid for 12 months or a refund minus a 20% restocking fee. The restocking fee will be issued as a gift card.

Alive Arrival Guarantee We guarantee that all livestock (corals, invertebrates, etc.) will arrive alive and as described. If an item arrives dead (DOA), email us at sales@coralstop.com within 3 hours of delivery (as per UPS's recorded time) with clear photos of the dead item, both in and out of the shipping bag. If a buyer fails to contact Coral Stop within the specified 3-hour period, Coral Stop retains the right to refuse DOA coverage. These cases will be evaluated at Coral Stop’s discretion.. The buyer must be present to receive the delivery; otherwise, DOA coverage is void. Verified DOAs will be credited fully with a replacement or a credit towards future purchases, excluding shipping costs. If we cannot guarantee replacement of the exact coral, you will receive full credit towards a future purchase, excluding shipping fees. We are not liable for shipments sent to incorrect addresses provided by the buyer. Coral Stop is also not responsible for delays caused by mechanical issues or weather conditions affecting UPS deliveries. While such delays are rare, we will work with you to resolve any issues that arise. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us by phone or email.

Live Sale Events All purchases made during live sale events are final. Discounts, store gift cards, or credits cannot be applied to live sale corals. These events are highly anticipated, and cancellations could unfairly benefit others. Please contact us with any questions before making a purchase.

Returns and Refunds for Dry Goods

We accept returns for unused and unopened dry goods within 60 days of purchase. To qualify for a full refund (excluding shipping and restocking fees), the following conditions must be met:

  • Returns must be authorized beforehand via email at sales@coralstop.com.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • You are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
  • Refunds will be issued once the returned item is inspected and confirmed to be in its original, unused condition.

 

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Liquids with expiration dates within 60 days of purchase
  • Aquariums, Foods, Sand, Salt, Rock
  • Items showing signs of use or exposure to water
  • Damaged or altered packaging, including missing warranty cards, manuals, or accessories
  • Special Order Items, Open Box Items, and items sold under clearance are final sale.

 

Further Details for Dry Goods:

  • Products must be unused and unopened; customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable.
  • Gift cards and store credits are non-refundable.
  • Return shipping may be deducted from your refund if you would like us to provide you with a prepaid shipping label. Otherwise, you may use your own shipping method for returns.
  • Inspect all items upon arrival and retain all packaging and tags until you are satisfied with your purchase.
  • Products with ‘Ships OVERNIGHT FREE’ are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
  • Special Order Items and Drop Ship Items cannot be canceled once ordered.
  • Coral Stop is not responsible for manufacturing defects. Please contact the manufacturer directly for replacement.
  • If an item is damaged during shipping, we will replace it at no additional cost. Inspect all items upon delivery and contact us within 3 business days with photos of the damage. We will provide a return shipping label for the damaged item, and a replacement will be shipped once the return is received.
