Blastomussa Coral is a striking and hardy LPS coral known for its vibrant, fleshy polyps that can display a wide range of colors, including reds, pinks, greens, and purples. These polyps often form dense clusters, creating a visually stunning and eye-catching effect in the aquarium. Due to its vibrant coloration and ease of care, Blastomussa is a popular choice for both beginners and experienced reef keepers.
Blastomussa thrives in low lighting and low to medium water flow, which helps to keep its polyps extended and healthy. Although it relies on photosynthesis through its symbiotic zooxanthellae, it will benefit from occasional feedings of small plankton or coral foods, which can enhance its growth and coloration, particularly in low-nutrient tanks.
This coral is peaceful and can be placed near other non-aggressive species without risk of stinging or aggression. It’s important to provide enough space for Blastomussa to expand and grow, as it may become stressed if placed too close to other corals.

DOA (Dead on Arrival) Policy
- We guarantee livestock will arrive alive and as described
- If something arrives DOA, email sales@coralstop.com within 3 hours of delivery (based on UPS posted time)
- Please include clear photos of the item in the bag and out of the bag
- You must be present to receive delivery — missed deliveries void DOA coverage
- Verified DOAs receive replacement or store credit (shipping is not credited)
- UPS Next Day Air delivery times are not guaranteed (weather/mechanical delays can happen), but we’ll work with you to help make it right
