Shipping (Livestock)

• Ships via UPS Next Day Air (Continental U.S. only)
• We ship Monday–Thursday (you’ll choose your ship date at checkout)
• Most deliveries arrive before noon, but rural areas may be as late as 7:00 PM
• Orders ship only to the checkout address unless arranged by email
• Local pickup available in Chicago Ridge, IL — email us to schedule

• $35.99 flat rate (most states)
• $25.99 flat rate for IL / WI / IN
• FREE shipping on website orders over $279 in livestock
• Livestock total includes corals + inverts only (discounts, store credit, and dry goods don’t count)

Dry Goods Shipping

• Non drop-ship dry goods ship for $9.99 or FREE over $79
• Items marked “Ships Free With Corals” ship free when included with a livestock order

DOA (Dead on Arrival) Policy

• We guarantee livestock will arrive alive and as described
• If something arrives DOA, email sales@coralstop.com within 3 hours of delivery (based on UPS posted time)
• Please include clear photos of the item in the bag and out of the bag
• You must be present to receive delivery — missed deliveries void DOA coverage
• Verified DOAs receive replacement or store credit (shipping is not credited)
• UPS Next Day Air delivery times are not guaranteed (weather/mechanical delays can happen), but we’ll work with you to help make it right

How We Photograph Our Corals

• Every WYSIWYG photo is taken in our systems with consistent lighting and a custom white balance.
• Our goal is simple: show the coral as it looks in a properly lit reef — not overly edited or exaggerated.

Our Camera + Lens

• Camera: Sony a7 IV R (mirrorless)
• Lens: Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro G OSS
• Macro glass lets us capture fine details like texture, polyp extension, and subtle color shifts without getting too close.

Lighting We Shoot Under

• Primary: EcoTech Radion XR30 Blue
• Supplement: ReefBrite XHO
• Our Radion “photo” mix:

Color Accuracy

• We use a custom white balance so the photo matches what you’ll see under a clean, blue-leaning reef spectrum.
• Corals can look different tank-to-tank based on nutrients, spectrum, and flow — but we aim for honest, repeatable photos you can trust.
